Contact Nanosystems Advisory

This page is for semiconductor and materials teams, investors, and researchers who want to bring us a material system whether it's one we've already modelled or a new one, and start a defect-modelling engagement.

Request a defect-modelling engagement

We typically respond within one business day. Upon submission, we'll review your material and proposed scope, and follow up with next steps and an estimated timeline.

Material & Project Enquiry Form

Please email info@nanosystemsadvisory.com to start your request. Let us know the material system and, if known, the specific defects you're interested in.

Frequently asked questions

What types of engagements do you offer?

We run defect-modelling engagements directly on the material you specify — formation energies, charge-transition levels, and diagnostics — and apply that same evidence base through Technology Credibility Audits or Investor Technical Due Diligence when the question is about validating a claim rather than characterising a defect.

Who do you work with?

Semiconductor and materials companies, device teams, and investors seeking independent technical verification of a material or process claim.

How are confidentiality and NDAs handled?

All proprietary information is treated with the highest rigour, and we'll enter into standard or customised NDAs before discussing sensitive specifications. Results from your engagement are kept confidential and are never added to our own defect database unless you explicitly agree to it.

What do you need from me to get started?

The material system you're working with, and — if you know it — the specific defect or property you need characterised. If you've already got DFT or experimental data, sharing it helps us scope faster, but it isn't required to start.

Based in London, working globally

Nanosystems Advisory is based in London, with infrastructure that reaches well beyond it — UK Tier 1 and Tier 2 HPC access and an academic partnership at UCL mean project work isn't bottlenecked by geography. We host in-person sessions in London or on-site by prior arrangement.
